Suicide Silence Singer Mitch Lucker Dead At 28

Mitch Lucker, the vocalist for Suicide Silence has died from injuries sustained in a motorbike accident.

Suicide Silence posted the following statement to their official Facebook page: “There’s no easy way to say this. Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. This is completely devastating to all of us and we offer our deepest condolences to his family. He will be forever in our hearts.

According to the Press Enterprise, Orange County Coroner’s officials reported that Lucker was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident shortly before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31. Lucker was pronounced dead at 6:17 a.m. this morning (Thursday, November 1) at UCI Medical Center in Orange County.

Huntington Beach police were investigating the crash and expected to release further details later today.

so devastated by this news.. still can’t believe he is gone. have been following Suicide Silence excitedly awaiting another live show from such an amazing band, now to hear of mitch passing. he was unforgettable. I know he is watching over his friends and family. I also hope that in time the rest of the band will be able to move on and continue to produce some amazing music for us, with a new name, but the same emotion, dedication, and skill that has brought them to be so great. Mitch will b with you in spirit always.
